Timber Tim

Timber Tim is a 2D side-scroller wood-cutting RPG. The game focuses on visually pleasing art and relaxing sounds. As a player you start off weak, and have a small rusty axe which can only chop basic wood. But as you play the game Tim can grow stronger with experience and buy bigger axes. 

Every upgraded axe will have a new animation as well as a more powerful chopping sound so the game progress is always exciting. Tim lives in a small cabin where he can store his things before getting back to chopping. There’s a small town near his cabin where he can upgrade his axes, visit the nurse and talk to the Wizard about teleporting to other lands with magic trees. 

Overall, Timber Tim is a peaceful game, but there has been a slight accident with the Wizard’s experiments that caused a part of the forest’s creatures to become hostile. There is an area, the Evil Forest where you will be attacked by spellbound creatures, so you might as well use your axe-swinging skills there if you want to.

CONTROLS:
TAB - access inventory and character attributes
A and D - move left and right
SHIFT - hold Shift to sprint
SPACE - jump
RMB - power attack when combo points are full
RMB - interact with NPCs
RMB - right click to sell or buy items from the shop
E - enter buildings
